Sad news.....................

I never posted this, but thought I would do it now. The police still do not have a suspect. Now for the good news - I got another white industries eno crank!!!!!!!

I picked up a white industries wheelset for the new/old/hopelessly looking cannondale yesterday - it has an eno eccentric rear hub, so it doesn't need a chain tensioner. Photos coming! I know it's a little overkill for such a nasty looking frame, and I wasn't planning on riding it (think parts......) but it looks like fun, and so there! It needs a lot of work though, the head set is shot and the bottom bracket needs to be changed out, but hopefully I've everything I need (except a 1" headset, but I'll worry about that when I take it apart and see if it can be saved).

I'm stripping the Gary Fisher I was going to fix up and give to my kid. I ruined the threads on the bottom bracket, so I'm going to throw the frame away - it was made in china anyway. I'm going to throw the other chinese bike I bought (a terrible decision, but at least it wasn't too much) away..............it was just such a piece of junk that I can't stand looking at it - besides, it'll clear some room for new projects!

I might be picking up a free bike off Craigslist in the next few days, we'll see how nasty this one is, but as they say, don't look a gift horse in the mouth...........

Riding has been uneventful but fun, wet, and cold!
