Second date didn't go as well...........................

I had hope, but that was about it. I found a Cannondale super V 1000 on Craigslist, but the seller hasn't got back to me - he called once and said he'd email me, but it didn't happen. Oh well.............at least I got the Kestrel!

First date is complete! I picked it up this afternoon........it has a few scratches and "hopefully" nothing wrong where the front derailleur was...........

Here is what I'm talking about -

it's hard to see, but the carbon was pinched , and I'm not sure if it's fractured - maybe that's why the guy I got it from was trying to turn it in to a single speed...............Anyway there are a few scratches that can be touched up with finger nail polish, and a few parts need to be put on it and it'll be ready to roll! (nice race face cranks too!)

I'm not sure of the year - it was made in the United States,  so I think it's around 1995 - 1999?

Two hot dates this week!

Tomorrow night I'm looking at a vintage Kestrel mountain bike and the following night I'm checking out a Cannondale super V!
